Bridal Beauty Hair Care Tips

*First thing to do after you book your church (spiritual counceling will really help you to stay grounded emotionally and mentally causing less break outs and freak outs - meditate and pray daily for best results) is find a great stylist if you don't already have one and pre-book your date and an appointment for wedding consultation.
*Immediately begin a diet, excercise, skin care, nail care and nutrient regimen if you don't already have one. Nexxus Vitamins are best for great hair, skin, and nails. Use only professional haircare products that will get and keep your hair in good shape. Have your stylist recommend what is right for you at your next haircut appointment. Try less ironing and blowdrying, if you can air dry. This will get you physically in shape from the inside out.
*Once you have found your gown take a picture of it and bring it with you at your next hair appointment or wedding consulation, ask your stylist for their professional recommendation on style. It's important that your hairstyle match your dress style. Face shape, hair color, hair texture will all play a big role. At this time you will want to decide if a headpeice is right for you or will go with the style of both your hair and gown. Some people pick out their headpeice with their gown and often spend money they do not need to spend or try to fit a style to their headpeice and not to their hairstyle or face shape. If you do not like the choices of headpeices because they do not fit your style, you can have one made to suit you but getting a new hairtype or face shape is a lot harder.
* Discuss any wiglettes or extensions to be purchased if needed. How they will be colored, styled, etc. Real human hair peices can be styled with a blowdryer or curling iron, synthetic cannot. If you intend to style it yourself or use it again this may be a worth while investment.
*You will want to add some trial size styling, make-up products, nylons, etc. to your maid of honors bag so she can carry retouch supplies(example: after dinner you may want to reapply lipstick before cake pictures). It will be her job to assist you for the day.
*You are best to have a trim 3 weeks before your wedding with your regular stylist only. Perming and highlights should be done one month before. A color or gloss should be applied one week before. The reason for the color or clear gloss (if you want to remain natural) is color reflects light. The light of the camera will reflect on your fresh haircolor and it will make hair appear shinnier than it really even is. Spray Glace by Joico is also a nice spray to add the day of your wedding, this too will enhance the shine.
*If you are good with makeup wear as usual, if not or if you want a professional look for the day or to prepare for any cover-ups hire a makeup artist. Once I had a bride that had her nose injured in a volleyball game the night before and we had to do stage makeup to cover up the damage. We did it and the pictures taken and guests never knew. Her husband did not even realize how black and blue she was until the makeup wore off on the day after their honeymoon. Make sure you have a trial run before your wedding day (same with hairstyle and hairpiece if wearing one) so you know what to expect and there is no surprises. Also make shure your makeup artist and stylist have consulted with each other (if they are not the same person) so that your total look and colors will compliement one another.
*The day of your wedding where a button down shirt to the salon so you do not ruin your style or make-up when getting dressed. Arrive at the salon 15 mintutes early so that you can start on time and not be late, if your stylist has a habit of running behind call ahead and remind them of your special day to keep them on track.
